Dr Kiara Coombs

Veterinarian

Dr. Coombs has been living out her five-year-old self’s dream of becoming a veterinarian. Her passion for animals began at a very young age and only continued to grow as she got older. Determined to turn that childhood dream into a career, she entered the veterinary field at just 15 years old. She started as a kennel technician, where she developed hands-on experience caring for animals and supporting the clinical team. Through hard work, dedication, and a genuine love for her patients, she steadily worked her way up to the role of veterinary assistant, gaining valuable knowledge and skills along the way before ultimately achieving her goal of becoming a veterinarian.

Dr. Coombs pursued her veterinary education at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, where she developed a strong medical foundation and refined her clinical interests. She graduated in 2018 and has since been committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care to her patients while building lasting relationships with their owners. Her professional interests include dermatology, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery, and she enjoys the challenge of diagnosing complex cases as well as helping pets feel comfortable and healthy again.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Coombs enjoys staying active and maintaining a balanced lifestyle. In her spare time, she loves working out, exploring new restaurants, and attending concerts. She also cherishes spending quality time with her husband, their baby girl, and their four beloved dogs—D’OG, Diggy, Doja, and Roxy—who keep life at home fun, busy, and full of personality. Her lifelong passion for animals, combined with her dedication to patient care, continues to drive her work every day as a veterinarian.
